DPI
Dots per inch (DPI) is resolution measurement. It is important to have a high enough DPI when providing designs, this is usually 300dpi. The design software used should have an option to set the DPI for the designs either when saving the file or when exporting.
DTF
DTF stands for Direct-to-film. It is a technology used to apply designs to garments. The design is applied to the garment using a heat press.
UV DTF
UV DTF stands for Ultra Violet Direct-to-Film.
It is a digital printing method that uses a UV printer to print designs on a film to make stickers that can be applied to hard surfaces. It is also often referred to as UV DTF Transfers.
Gang sheet
A gang sheet is one printable sheet filled with many designs to reduce waste and to lower costs of prints. Gang sheets are often created in set sizes depending one the size and capabilities of the printer.
Sublimation
Sublimation is a printing technology that uses heat and pressure to transfer dye directly into the material. It can be used on materials such as fabric, ceramics, or metal.
SVG
SVG or Scalable Vector Graphics is a file format commonly used in graphic design, it is also commonly used in web design. The vector graphics data is stored as XML text and can be scaled in size without loss of quality.
